Author - Jeffrey A. Cooper

My books are dark, funny, fast-moving crime thrillers. My influences include literary workhorses like Donald Westlake (or Richard Stark, for that matter), Elmore Leonard, Patricia Highsmith, Richard Matheson, Cormac McCarthy, Kazuo Ishiguro, Raymond Chandler and Carl Hiaasen, among many others. My first book, "How to Steal a Truck Full of Nickels" was published in 2015. The second, "Burn One Down" published in 2018. I co-created two television shows executive produced by the late, legendary, Emmy-award winning comedian Louie Anderson, and I have a movie project currently being shopped with producer Beau Bauman. My third novel, the dark crime thriller "Out to Get Me" will publish on October 20, 2023.
